Commissioning and Handover
Activities and milestones
The activities and milestones that comprise the commissioning phase for a project containing AV systems are shown in Table 4. For smaller Audiovisual design/build projects, the DTS–AV Project team takes on the role of AV Consultant.
Table 4: Activities and Milestones in Commissioning and Handover Phase
| Activities and Milestones | Accountable | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Provide operations manuals, code and as-built drawings | AV Integrator | |
| Provide support during defects liability period (DLP) | AV Integrator | |
| Review and report on suitability of AV systems (six months after practical completion) | AV Consultant |
Room State
The room and all Audio Visual equipment is to be clean and free of dust. DTS-AV may not sign off on Practical Completion should they deem there to be too much dust or construction debris upon or within the AV hardware and AV hardware enclosures and joinery.

- Any spares as detailed within the project spares section, as well as additional hardware that is now spare due to design variations is appropriately labelled and handed over
Defects liability period
