Prerequisites​

  • Sony LCD display
  • Sony TV remote

Entering Pro Mode Config​

Ensure the LCD is ON and you have the remote control Point the remote at the TV and press the following buttons in the below order within short succession

i+, mute, volume up, home

The panel will reboot and pro mode options will be available in the menu.

Exiting Pro Mode​

Within the Pro Mode menu is the option to "Start Pro Mode" - the panel will reboot into the locked down Pro Mode.

Settings​

Pleas note the below settings are generic as LCD models and firmwares change frequently..

  • Picture mode set to game
  • Max backlight (nits)
  • Colour mode set to neutral
  • Reset settings set to OFF
  • Simple IP Control enabled
  • AC power on – set to “Always on”
  • Wake-up on signal – set to “Always enable”
  • Initial input source - set to the input connected to the primary source
  • External inputs – Disable all unused inputs
  • Set max volume to “0” or Disable internal speakers on TV
  • Disable digital and analog tuners
  • Disable internal speakers on TV
  • All ECO modes and auto off timers turned OFF
  • Input labels turned off
