Step 1: IO

On the Core + IO page, label in's and outs. The design has allowance for 4 Stereo Content, 8 Mic and 4 Stereo Outputs that get mixed on the "Room" page. These are the 3 8ch meter blocks. IO

The default inputs are

  • Content: Primary and Secondary content feeds (AES67, Stereo)
  • Mic In: Boundary, Lapel, Handheld, Clip and Cube
  • Outputs: Program (Stereo, Analogue), Record (AES67, Stereo), Conference (AES67, Stereo)

If any of these inputs or outputs change, please update in the labeling section at the top of the page Labeling

Step 2: Route and Tune microphones

On the Room page, microphones are mixed down into mic groups - the defaults are: Bounday, Lapel, Handheld, Audience.

  • Boundary is a fixed level input and only gets routed to record and conference
  • Lapel is for lapel, clip and headset type microphones
  • Handheld is for Handheld and Catchbox Cubes
  • Audience is for any ceiling/audience microphones. The mixdown occurs in the 8x4 mixer in Mic Processing The AEC Mic processing has EQ, HPF etc. MicMix

Step 3: Balance Audio

The Master Mixer takes the content and microphone mixers into a big matrix. Named controls affect the levels of these crosspoints on the in-room/program feed- the minimum and maximum define the top and bottom of touchpanel fader travel Master Mixer

The test block provides a lot of testing tools for your convenience. Do not delete it! Test Block
