Sony SRG-Axx

The SRG-A12 and A40 camera requires 90w UPoE+

  • Ensure VISCA dipswitch (3) and the SDI Level Setting dipswitch (1) is enabled

  • Ensure the System Select rotary encoder is set to 6.

  • Update to latest firmware

  • First-Boot:

    • Set username to admin and password to Curtinav16

  • System Menu:

    • Set NTP Server to 134.7.134.17
    • Set Timezone to UTC +8
    • Set Install Position to appropriate orientation
    • Set output format to 1920x1080/59.94

  • Network:

    • Ensure DHCP is enabled

  • Security:

    • Access Limit: Off
    • SSL: Disable
    • Referer Check: Off
    • Brute Force Attack Protection: Off

  • Autoframing:

    • Targets: 1
    • Framing: Waist
    • Automatic Target Selection: On
    • Start Position: Close frame on Lectern
    • Detection Settings: Timeout: 20s, Restart: 0s, limit area as appropriate
    • Wait Time: 6s
    • Auto Start: On
    • Green Tally: On
    • Detected Indicator: On

  • Store the following presets for Lecture Tracking camera:

    • Preset 1: Tight shot of lectern
    • Preset 2: Wide shot of lectern - ideally framed with the front display in shot as well
    • Preset 3: Full Wide shot of room. Fully zoom out and focus on primary wall. Get as much room in shot as possible.
